Residential Organizing and Clutter Control Are you controlling your clutter or is clutter controlling you? If "chronically disorganized" describes you, you're not alone. Many people are seriously overwhelmed and engulfed in paper and belongings. My experience working with the chronically disorganized, or just plain-too-busy clients where organization has fallen on the wayside, has well prepared me to help you "get out from under" with caring and compassion. I've seen it all...nothing will surprise or shock me! I can help you organize anything in your home from incoming mail to the garage, from file cabinets to closets. The bigger the pile, the better I like it! Call or email me today to discuss how together we can bring calm and order to you and your surroundings!Business Organizing Most Challenging Business Task: Source: Home Office Computing January 1995
My goal when working with any business is to encourage and assist individuals and organizations to identify and implement organizing skills in order to increase productivity, reduce stress, and reach their personal and professional goals. Methods include: desktop management, file systems, process for handling mail, office design and layout, project management, storage and supply management, goal setting, and self management. Professional Organizer Training Are you a "naturally organized" person who watches organizing programs and says to themselves, "Hey, I could do that!"? Do you enjoy working with people? Are you interested in starting your own business? If you answered "yes" to these questions, I encourage you to find out more about the training program I offer to prospective professional organizers. It's one thing to love to organize, it's another to develop a profitable business. I can provide you with the help you need to avoid the pitfalls and enjoy the rewards of being a professional organizer! There is no geographical boundary to my one-on-one training program. I have personally trained organizers across the USA and Canada. Please call or email me today for more information! What's the problem? Most of us are dissatisfied with the insufficient storage space in our homes, but what we really have is inefficient storage space. For example, picture the average American closet: One hanging bar at head-height, one shelf above it. Imagine this closet full of clothing, and then focus on the empty spots. Think of all that unused space between the floor and the clothes on the hangers, all the dead air between the highest item on the shelf and the ceiling. Most closets, and most cupboards, have enough volume to hold nearly twice as much stuff as they're constructed to hold. With minor remodeling, this can be fixed. The rest of your home has plenty of potential storage space, too…little nooks and crannies that are perfect storage spaces just waiting to happen. All you need is some help in finding that dead space and employing just the right storage products, if needed, to make the most of that space. Let me use my expertise and resources to help you make that happen! Life and ADD Coaching Coaching is a concept that has been receiving a growing amount of attention over recent years and is growing in popularity in the areas of personal, professional, and ADD/ADHD life management. Coaching is an ongoing relationship which focuses on clients taking action toward the realization of their visions, goals, or desires. Coaching uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build the client's level of awareness and responsibility, and provides the client with structure, support, and feedback. Simply put, a coach provides a warm, safe environment in which to help their clients grow. The coach is the catalyst that helps them get focused and motivated to meet the daily obligations of life with joy and ease. Let me help you discover your full potential! Information in our filing system is the lifeblood of our work, yet managing our paper has become increasingly complex. Easy access to it is often critically tied to our success, yet the average executive spends 150 hours a year looking for lost or misplaced information. What a waste of resources! Any document that you have to spend a lot of time searching for or replace becomes very expensive. It doesn't have to be that way….I can help you set up an information and records management system that makes sense to you. A paper management system that is working will 1) speed information retrieval 2) clear the clutter from your work area 3) reduce stress related to lost information, and 4) help you manage multiple activities and deadlines more easily. Stanley Marcus, legendary retailer and chairman emeritus of Neiman-Marcus, when asked, "What do the wealthy, powerful, and famous people you know have in common?", replied, "They all have 24-hour days." (He counted many of these individuals as personal friends.) Then he explained: "The world has expanded in almost all directions, but we still have a 24-hour day. The most successful people and the most unsuccessful people all receive the same ration of hours each day." The difference between being successful and not being successful depends on how you use your daily ration of 24 hours. Whether you're a business person, homemaker, or student, I can help you get control over the clock and increase your productivity! Residential Moves and Home Staging Planning to move? Moving doesn't have to overwhelm you. It can actually be a great time to purge from your life all those things that no longer serve you. Make a fresh start! I can help you pack up your home so you take only the things that you truly use and love. I can help you unpack and set up your home in an organized way that make sense to you and is easily maintained. Having trouble selling your home? Did you know that prospective home buyers make their buying decisions within five seconds of walking into a house? When you're getting your home ready to sell, what can you do to encourage a quick yes? The answer is "home staging." Staging a home can vary in degrees from simply clearing the clutter and giving it a good cleaning to redecorating and landscaping. The goal of staging is to make a house appeal to the widest possible range of people and to ultimately sell for top dollar. If an objective walk through your house gives you the feeling that chaos is jumping out at you, your house is definitely a good candidate for staging. Sometimes staging your home is too much to handle. Then what do you do? Call me for a consultation. I can offer a trained eye and a fresh perspective, as well as an understanding why a change is important.
